EASY EYES PALETTE

Take a look at how to create these simple eye looks in the videos in our eyeshadow brush gallery.

Use lighter shades Shine, Vanilla and Blush over the lid and combine with a darker shade in the outer corners or use under the brow to define.

Shine – a light shimmer shade, perfect for highlighting the inner corner or as a lighter shade over the lid.

Vanilla – a light matte shade.

Blush – a light matte soft pink shade.

Use mid shades over the entire lid to create a lovely one-shade eye look, or just use in the outer corners to shade.

Truffle – a medium matt warm brown.

Antique – a medium golden brown shimmer.

Taupe Shimmer – a medium soft taupe shimmer shade.

Use deeper shades over the entire lid to make a colourful eye-popping or smoky look, or just in the corners and under to frame eyes.

Bark – a dark matte cold brown, used in the outer corners of the eyes or under the bottom lash line to frame the eye shape.

Sunset – a dark copper shimmer.

Vintage Rose – a dark, warm burgundy/rose metallic.

There are hundreds of eye palettes out there, we know! But the common problem we kept finding was that the eyeshadow had little pigment, so it required lengthy repetition to make it visible.

We also found that the shades in many palettes didn't suit the majority of people, and many of the shades didn't work well together, or blended into one another! This is because of a lack of contrast in the shades or with the matte and shimmer textures.

Don't forget to use the lighter shades to highlight the cupid's bow or brow bone. And deeper browns to enhance the bottom lip.
